Customer AI connection

This optional connection lets your ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Claude (Anthropic) account ask Veleres for information your Veleres customer account can currently view.

What can be shared

When you ask for it, the connected AI service can receive your authorized organization, project and plot details, released observations, trends and quality information. Plot outlines, public agronomy guidance and device location are not available through this connection at present. The connection is read only. It cannot change Veleres records.

How access works

You sign in to a separate Veleres AI identity and link it from your Veleres account. Veleres checks your current customer access for each request. The AI service receives the tool arguments and answer, and may keep your prompt and answer under its own account settings.

Records and retention

Veleres keeps the identity link until you disconnect it or your Veleres account is removed. Link and unlink events and revoked links follow a 365-day retention rule. MCP service journals follow a 90-day rule. Encrypted company backups follow a 30-day rule; the two newest recovery points remain if backups stop. Your ordinary Veleres project and account records follow the account policy.

Stop sharing

You can disconnect the AI account in Veleres settings. This stops future requests through that connection. It does not erase prompts or answers already held by ChatGPT or Claude. Use their own account controls for those copies.
